Terms & Conditions
Please read all of the fine print and terms and conditions carefully so as to be sure you are familiar with all of my policies, before finalising any purchases.
I accept PayPal and card payments. I prefer Paypal as I believe it to be a more secure payment method for my customers.
Don’t forget that PayPal accepts credit card payments even if you don’t have an account with them.
Please make sure that your Paypal address is complete and up to date before completing your order. The address shown on the Paypal invoice will be the address the order is shopped to, in order to comply with Paypal Protection. Changes of address cannot be made after a purchase is complete.
I begin to process the order as soon as I have payment confirmation, depending on the item it may even be same day, but generally processing an order takes between 1 and 3 days.
If you need something ASAP or for a particular occasion or date, please let me know before you buy it so I know if it’s going to be possible to get it to you in time.
Please understand I take the time to pack your items very carefully before leaving me, however please inform me immediately if the package arrives damaged.
If the package arrives damaged, I would ask you to kindly take photographs of the parcel BEFORE you unwrap it, and then also of the item inside, showing clearly, in both cases any damage there may be.
Photographs should be sent to me via email.
Both of these steps will need to be completed within 48 hours or sooner if possible.
This is a crucial step to filing a claim with the post office or delivery service, so I thank you for any cooperation you are able to provide in this process.
The P+P charges for each listing are close estimates, on rare occasions the rate is liable to change.
As a general rule if I have undercharged you I will not ask you for the difference.
If I have over estimated the shipping I will refund you the difference through Paypal if the difference is more than 2.00 GBP.
I do add a nominal fee for packing on occasion, which is factored into the quote already. I do not make any money on P+P.
If you are purchasing multiple items please ask beforehand and I can give you a quote for combined shipping.
I ship world-wide where possible and would like to make it clear that the recipient is responsible for all potential local duties, taxes, custom or carrier fees. I have no way of predicting how much these are or how long it might be sitting in customs for in your country.
There are websites available to help you calculate how much you might have to pay. If you need the weight or package size to be able to do this more accurately I will be happy to help.
CANCELLING AN ORDER:
If you wish to cancel an order please contact me first with a reason.
If you wish to cancel an order for any reason before I have started the shipping process you may be liable for any Paypal Fees.
Whether or not I choose to accept a cancellation at this point is entirely at my discretion.
If you wish to cancel an order and I have already begun the shipping process/ posted the item, then it will be treated under my normal returns policy and you may still be liable for Paypal fees.

I understand that you may change your mind when making a purchase, but communication before checkout is advised to clear up any questions or doubts you may have, so as to minimise buyers remorse.
I am always happy to reserve an item for you for up to three days if you are still unsure as to whether it is what you want.
I operate a 14 day return policy, from the date you receive your goods, as long as the following conditions are met:
First please contact me before sending out any items to be returned, so I know when to expect it, and I can begin the process of re-listing the item sooner rather than later.
I would appreciate it if you can let me know ASAP if you wish to return an item within the 14 day time limit so I can keep track of stock and finances. I thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.
All items must be returned in their original condition; unused in any original packaging, with all tags and labels still attached.
Any modification to an item will void the returns policy.
Return postage and packing costs are the buyers responsibility, and should be packed sufficiently to avoid damage in transit.
Please list my address and your return address on the parcel.
I cannot return original postage costs.
For your peace of mind I strongly recommend you use a signed/tracked delivery option, as the item will be insured for up to £50.00 GBP (When using Royal Mail), against damage or loss, and I can only refund your money when I am in receipt of the returned item.
Any further insurance can be purchased separately on items exceeding £50.00 GBP.
Proof of postage should indicate the item was sent within the 14 day time limit.
For your sake; please keep the receipt and proof of postage until I have issued your refund in case there are any delivery issues.
The sooner I receive the item back, the sooner I can process your refund.
In case of a refund needed for damaged in transit goods, please refer closely to the relevant section ('DAMAGED GOODS') in 'Shipping,' thank you.
Failure to comply with any of the above conditions will void my returns policy.
Returns are not only time consuming, but also costly for both parties, so please read the listing carefully and ask any questions before buying.

Please be aware that wood is a natural material and as such no two items will ever be identical in grain or colour. There also might be inherent natural "flaws" within the wood, which is part of their unique charm.
Natural wood is also subject to change as it dries, or as the atmosphere/ temperature around it changes. Grain can expand or contract over time. I am careful to select wood that is as stable as possible, but changes, and perceived "defects" can occur during the lifetime of a wooden product and this is just part of owning a product made from a natural material.
I have done my best to provide the most accurate photographs of each item I can.
However the colours of items may appear different on different computer screens.
